The Goodwood Revival is a 3-day festival held at Goodwood each September, recreating the 'Golden Age' of motor racing from the 50s and 60s. As well as featuring Grand Prix cars of the era, the event has long been an excuse to dress up in the clothing of the period.
We're not that interested in cars - old or not, but the chance to rub shoulders with thousands of ladies in petticoats and men in demob suits was too much to miss, so on the 20th of September, sandwiches were packed, seams straightened and The Changing World set off for the Good Revival in the shape of webmaster Rob, and long-term disciple of the shop, Christine.

We're here! But Christine's not impressed with the storage capacity of her 1950s handbag.
Although she has nothing but praise for her girdle.
Driver Mike unwinds by carrying all the bags.
Gloves complete the outfit.
Christine's outfit: vintage velvet coat, modern fitted dress and shoes, vintage hat and gloves.
Stockings are vintage 15 denier pin point mesh by Stockleigh. 'Girls on the go-go for Stockleigh'.
Worn by BEA Air Stewardesses according to the packet! Colour is 'Black-currant'.
Borrowed from the shop - a fabulous 1950s hat by Chalmaux of '29 Picadilly, W1 and branches'.
It's no good, the Peter Lord Handbag won't stay closed. No Nokias and Filofaxes in those days...
A very well dressed couple.
A spot of National Service would teach Rob to tuck that shirt in...
